TRZINC

I know this one for a quite a long time. It grew up in the concrete block in Trzin, collected by Andrej, then somehow found its way into my collection. I think it's been five or six years ago.

S temle se že kar dolgo poznava. Rastel je v betonskem koritu v Trzinu, izkopal ga je Andrej, potem pa je nekako našel pot v mojo zbirko. Mislim da je že pet ali šest let tega.

 

One winter Saturday at the beginning of our cooperation in the Tora bonsai school, Rajko and me prepared a demonstration. I worked on the design, wired, Rajko has outlined the future of the dead wood.

 

Neko zimsko soboto na začetku najinega sodelovanja v Tori, sva z Rajkotom pripravila demonstracijo. Jaz sem delal na dizajnu, žičil, Rajko pa je začrtal prihodnost mrtvega lesa.

 

 

The result was not superb, merely outlined the future. But two years later I changed my mind and tried to style the juniper quite differently. More or less unfortunate attempt, juniper rested on two next growing seasons.

 

Rezultat ni bil bogvekaj, zgolj začrtana prihodnost. A kaj, ko sem si dve leti kasneje premislil in skušal brin oblikovati povsem drugače. Bolj ali manj neposrečen poskus, brin je spet počival dve rastni sezoni.

 

 

Then I used it last fall on demonstration with Andrea Melloni. Again we are back to the old design.

 

Potem sem ga lani jeseni uporabil za demonstracijo z Andreo Mellonijem. Spet smo se vrnili k staremu dizajnu.

 

 

Juniper reacted well, and the time has come for the improvement of the structure of the cown and it's definition. There are still a lot of work on a dead wood and live veins, but juniper is now however much closer to the ultimate goal. Because it is a virginiana species  tree takes a lot of work for the result. One must wire it three times per year an pinch it  all the time. Next spring I'll re poted it in the small round container, of course, I'll also corrected it's position.

 

Brin je lepo reagiral in prišel je čas za boljšanje struktiue krošnje ter definicijo krošnje. Ostaja še veliko dela na mrtvem lesu in živih venah, toda zdaj je brin vendarle že veliko bližje končnemu cilju. Ker gre za vrsto virginiana je na drevesu za rezultat potrebno veliko dela. Tudi trikrat na leto prežičiti, ves čas vršičkati. Naslednjo pomlad gre v manjšo okroglo posodo, seveda bom ob tem popravil tudi pozicijo.
